De Nieuwe Band Organic Yellow Lentils

These dried yellow lentils come from organic cultivation. Legumes are delicious seeds that are great in many dishes.

Preparation

Boil the lentils for 10-15 minutes in a large amount of water. Add salt only at the end of the cooking time. As the lentils get older, the soaking and cooking time is slightly longer.

This product is packaged and/or stored in a company that also processes products containing wheat, nuts, peanuts, mustard, celery, sesame, shellfish, soy, sulphites, fish and molluscs. Despite all precautions, it is possible that this product contains traces of these allergens.

When growing these lentils, grains are used as an auxiliary stem, which means that a grain may be present among the lentils.

Storage advice

Store in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container.

Use

Yellow lentils fall apart easily and are therefore very suitable for a hearty soup.

Packaging

The packaging is made of polypropylene and sometimes a small layer of polyethylene. Both are fully recyclable.
