De Nieuwe Band Organic Risotto Rice Baldo White

Risotto rice Baldo has a somewhat longer grain that absorbs a lot of moisture during cooking. This organic risotto rice Baldo comes from Riseria Provera in Italy. This rice becomes somewhat softer and creamier after cooking.

Preparation

Take 100 grams of risotto per person. Fry the rice briefly in a little ghee or coconut oil until the grain is slightly glassy and smells nice. Add 250 ml of stock (per 100 grams of rice) and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Keep stirring well in the meantime. Add a dash of white wine at the end. Delicious with grilled vegetables!
