De Nieuwe Band Organic Wild Rice

Wild rice is officially a grass and grows in small lakes. Through a form of fermentation it gets its characteristic color and becomes suitable for eating. It can be used as rice and has a nutty flavor.

Preparation (2 persons)

Take 1 cup of rice with 1.5 – 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for 45 – 60 minutes. Then stir the rice and let it evaporate.

Storage advice

Store in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container.
