White rice.

This product is packaged and/or stored in a facility that also processes products containing wheat, nuts, peanuts, mustard, celery, gluten, sesame, shellfish, soy, sulphites, fish and molluscs. Despite all precautions, it is possible that this product contains traces of these allergens.
Storage advice
Store in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container.
Preparation
Pathiri:
- Bring 1.5 to 2 cups of water to boil.
- Add 1 cup of Pathiri Podi and salt if required.
- Mix and knead well while still hot to make a smooth dough (use boiled water if required while kneading).
- Make small balls of this dough.
- Sprinkle some rice powder over it and roll it into thin Pathiris.
- Fry this in a hot tawa without using oil.
Idiyappam:
- Mix Idiyappam Podi with salt.
- Sprinkle enough water and mix everything well until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- For best results, let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 teaspoon of grated coconut in the mould and press the dough into the mould using an idiyappam press.
- Fill the idli maker 3/4 full with water and bring it to a boil.
- Place the mould in the idli maker.
- Cover and steam for 15-20 minutes or until done.
- Serve with hot curry.
